I am extremely happy with the end result as I know this was one of Sam's (new apprentice)first pieces, the quality is far superior to anything else I had looked at. If you have any doubts about Viv's craftsmanship; read on...

I am very rarely impressed by anything, most things you purchase today are of poor quality and substandard workmanship. This is certainly not the case here, Viv, a skilled goldsmith.

My father gave me a gold ring, rather ghastly by any stretch of the imagination, however, I sent Viv and email and he responded on time.
I sent him a rather poor copy of the family crest and he transformed that into something workable, along with the diplorable quality of the gold ring.

He sent me photos of the process, which was fantastic, and the finished producted. It is absolutely terrific! Good medium weight, thick shank and the engraving is beautiful.

I am going to have some clufflinks next. Absolute quality.

Wanted to say how grateful I am to Viv for his time, skill and patience. I had an old signet ring of my grandfathers that his mother gave him to go off to the first world war. It was very worn and too thin to wear any longer. Viv melted it down with an old single gold cufflink I had. With the two he had enough gold to make me a new "pinky' ring. Delorean is the only place I have found that would use my sentimental old gold. He provided me with pictures of the before / during and after and all for a very reasonable price. Love the ring and feel I still have a little of my grandfather with me.
I would recommend Viv to anyone. If you have any doubts about a commission with him....don't have.

I wanted to purchase a unique ring for my husbands birthday coming up in June, and had researched alot of different websites before finding Viv's page. I contacted Viv via email and explained exactly what i was looking for, Viv took onboard exactly what i'd asked for and replied to every email promptly. I was kept informed of when postage would happen and cannot fault Vivs communication. I received my order today, and to say I'm ecstatic would be an understatement. It's exactly as I asked for, personally unique to my husband. I cannot wait for his reaction when he sets eyes on it. I spent a while reviewing different Signet ring producers looking for something professional, quality and that I hoped would last me for a long time.

I ordered a 9ct gold plain oval signet with a face size of 14x12mm with a monogram of three initials (laser engraving).

Throughout the process I received quite a few emails from Viv to confirm different aspects of the ring and design to ensure I would be getting the best possible ring.

We talked about initials ordering, monogram placement and then eventually font types to ensure the ring face looked as full as possible and after agreeing to all Viv's recommendations and changes to the order I received the finished product.

I was instantly delighted and the ring fits smoothly and comfortably. The quality of the overall product is fantastic and the ring is indeed "heavyweight" and the weight feels very nice on my finger.

To be 100% truthful, the order was slightly delayed and Viv explained he was out the workshop as we has under the weather but gave me an ETA that he stuck too and apologized for the delay.

All in all, a very positive experience and I'm glad I didn't spend an extra £3/400 with someone else for essentially the same product.

If you read through his FAQ's, he is very open about his costing and from the product I received I believe he's a very genuine, professional and quality seller.
